Usage tips :

The cleanliness of the tank is undoubtedly the most important criterion in the eyes of our feline friends.
Unpleasant odors are caused by the formation of ammonia in the tank. When the cat's urine comes into contact with oxygen, the smell of this unpleasant gas is formed.

To avoid this inconvenience, you pour between 8 to 10 cm of litter into the empty litter box. If you have just washed the box, make sure it is completely dry before pouring CHATDOR absorbent litter into it. Otherwise, CHATDOR litter will quickly form solid clumps which will remain on the surface.

Remove solid waste daily using a litter scoop with holes to remove only clumps and thus avoid waste. Add litter as needed to keep enough in the box.

After approximately 7 days of use, empty the entire contents of the litter box into a trash bag. Clean the surface of the box with warm water and a drop of bleach, dry it and fill it with fresh litter.

CHATDOR can be flushed into the toilet in moderation: 100 g per flush, once a day except in a septic tank.
In fact, do not dump your litter into a septic tank. You risk filling your pit unnecessarily and therefore saturating your drainage pipes.
