A hammock chair in homage to the Rama people

This hammock chair pays homage to the "Ramas" who are an indigenous people representing the smallest group in Nicaragua (approximately 1600 people). Since Spanish colonization, they have declined sharply due to disease, conflict and loss of territory. But in recent years, the population has regained strength and is tending to increase.
