Every year on January 20, the town of Diriamba enthusiastically celebrates the Diriamba Fair, a grandiose religious event in honor of its patron saint, Saint Sebastian. An important element of this celebration is the Mayordomo (Major Man), who occupies a central and honorary role.
The Mayordomo is responsible for providing much of the festivities and drinks during the party. It is a privilege and a great honor for him to fulfill this function, symbolizing his commitment to the community and his active participation in this celebration.
