Innis & Gunn Hopped Bourbon Cask Ale

An imperial red ale brewed from extra pale ale, crystal rye and crystal malts with a light addition of wheat.

The beer was transferred to first-fill bourbon barrels, a first for Innis & Gunn, then cold-hopped with a blend of ahtanum and amarillo hops for aging.

Cold hopping will convey intense and distinctive aromas of orange, Turkish delight, dried cherries and lychees.
