A tribute to the Selva Negra

Selva Negra, established in 1975 in the heart of the Matagalpa mountains, represents a unique place. Nestled in a region steeped in coffee culture, it is close to beautiful hills draped in unspoilt rainforest. The descendants of 19th century German settlers are the owners of this estate. The German influence is still evident in the architecture of the rooms and the restaurant, decorated with numerous historical relics such as period photographs, press articles, tools and other artifacts testifying to the evolution of the settlers towards the production of coffee.
