Polyester wood renovation paste

The renovation paste is a 2-component polyester putty. Mix it with water and you can make repairs of different sizes. It is used to coat, fill, glue, repair and correct imperfections in wood, iron, concrete and plastic materials (e.g. doors, windows, furniture, etc.). Then you can subsequently sand (45 minutes after curing) and repaint over the imperfection.

It is dyed in the mass with concentrated universal dyes, such as MIXOL or similar. Used indoors and outdoors.

Easily workable two-component paste, composed of unsaturated polyester resins, for any type of application on wooden supports, such as the reconstruction of missing parts even of large dimensions, filling, finishing, etc.

It is possible to obtain any final thickness by applying several coats spaced a few minutes apart.

Preparation of the surface: The surface must be dry, without traces of dust, soil, encrustations, rot, old paints and waxes. The wood must be compact, have high mechanical resistance and have a humidity of between 8 and 15%.

Before applying the putty to "hairy" surfaces (wood fibers cut perpendicularly), it is necessary to impregnate with a primer to consolidate the mass.

Manual

Mix carefully and apply the putty so that it adheres well to the support using light pressure on the spatula. Thick coats should be applied in two or more times; the successive layer must be applied when the previous one has already hardened and cooled.

For thin layers, curing takes longer and you have to wait longer before sanding and painting. Low temperatures lengthen working times, while high temperatures shorten them.
